Adventures in Quarantine Scavenger Hunt

Staying connected with your community while being told by public health officials to keep your distance is challenging. Socializing in DC typically revolves around happy hour and brunch. So what do you do when restaurants and bars are closed, the CDC recommends staying 6 feet away from others, and the mayor tells you to stay home as much as possible? My group of friends was looking for a way to stay connected beyond our weekly video call, so I put together an Adventures in Quarantine Scavenger Hunt for the month of April that we can do together while being physically apart, and I decided to share it with the Adventures in DC community as well.

The Adventures in Quarantine Scavenger Hunt lists a different item or activity to do each day. All of the items are things you can find or do from inside your home. Once you’ve decided what to use for the scavenger hunt that day, take a photo and share it with others. If you’re struggling to find something to fit that day’s item, you can get creative. Don’t have any plants? Find or draw a picture of a plant instead. Aren’t into sports? Think of another group or team you identify with. Most importantly, have fun!
